Community Partnering Process

While each Community Partnering Project will be different, in every context there are steps to be taken to establish a productive process. They include:

• a catalyst to initiate Community Partnering
• finding institutional partners to work 
• enrolling community researchers
• training community researchers
• conducting research with community members
• presenting research findings
• supporting enterpise development
• sustaining partnerships

The following sections outline issues to consider at each step of the Community Partnering Process. 

There is no one way to proceed. Each community will present its own challenges and will require creative responses.
